HI! My name is Anna Jarero, I´m from Mexico, I live in a big city called Monterrey, I love to live there there´s a lot of things to do every day, places to go, even when you just wanna sit and chill for a bit, so I really miss home, specially my friends because I think is kind of hard to start all over again from adapting to time differences to make friends, but i think I´m doing just fine at least for now, so i hope to keep the same path that I´ve been taking so far.
I´ve been a teacher for nine years, from kindergarden through 6th grade, and I just love it! Even though the educational system back home isn´t that great, I just try my best to make the kids learn something and make it fun, because i´ve realized that kids learn a lot better when the class is fun and interactive, they actually love it, and remember everything. When i was a teacher in kindergarden i had a nice time but i won´t do it again!!! the kids are really needy and demand a LOT of attention, they actually take your energy away even when you work with them for like 5 hours it is exhausting REALLY!! so I decided to go to upper primary and i just LOVE it! the kids understood everything and they are capable of doing everything by themselves so that´s the grade that love the most.
About my cuty I can tell you that is amazing...It is sourranded by mountains, everywhere you look you will see one. you can actually go and climb or just sightseen, at night you can have a lot of fun in the different clubs, because they have so many different styles, so you can hear any kind of music. There is one place called "Paseo de Santa Lucia" is an artificial river that runs all oven downtown it is BIG! and there´s always different thing to do in that place, you can aet have a glass of wine hearing some music, or just sit in the grass and have a nice time chillin´ with your friends.
There´s also bad things like summer time we actually get 43 celcius every summer, we don´t get snow AT ALL! the lowest temperature aver was minus 3 and school was suspended, nobody opened their business so we just freak out! so I can say that it´s summer all year long!
About the actual situation we can just hope that it gets better but woulnd´t trade my city for anuthing in the world..
SO I invite you to visit my country and have a blast!!!
